Baby Bootie 2

 

 

  1. Cast on 33 live stitches with WY and work a row of ravel cord
  2. Knit 1 row MY
  3. Set carriage to Hold and put needles left of zero plus R1 needle as well to HP
  4. Put R2 also to HP to do the automatic wrap
  5. Knit across, put last needle that was knitting to HP
  6. Take opposite the carriage 2 needles from HP to FWP, Knit across
  7. Put last needle that was knitting to HP and Knit across (4 rows)
  8. Take carriage off of Hold and knit to the left
  9. Put carriage back to Hold
  10. Put needles right of zero and L1 needle to HP
  11. Knit across, put last stitch that was knitted to HP
  12. Take opposite the carriage 2 needles from HP to FWP, Knit across
  13. Put last needle that was knitting to HP
  14. Take opposite the carriage 2 needles from HP to FWP, Knit across
  15. Put last needle that was knitting to HP and Knit across (4 rows)
  16. Set counter to 4, take carriage off of Hold
  17. Knit 3 rows
  18. Remove 12 stitches opposite the carriage off the needles onto WY or a circular needle as I show
  19. Knit across
  20. Remove 12 stitches opposite the carriage off the needles onto WY or a circular needle as I show.  9 stitches left in work
  21. Take the first stitch from the circular needle opposite the carriage side and put it on the last knitting machine needle and Knit across
  22. Continue doing this until you have 6 stitches on the circular needle
  23. Hang the 6 stitches from opposite side of the carriage back onto the machine outside the 9 stitches that was worked
  24. Knit across
  25. Hang the other 6 stitches on the other side to the needles outside the needles in work
  26. Hang claw weights on the ends if you do not have any weight on the work
  27. Then you will short row, this is between the leg and foot part so the bootie will sit on the foot a little better
  28. Set your carriage to Hold
  29. Bring 8 needles on the left to HP
  30. Knit across, bring last needle of stitch that was knitted to HP
  31. Knit 2 rows and bring last needle of stitch that was knitted to HP
  32. That will be 4 rows
  33. Take carriage off of Hold
  34. Knit 6 rows and put TD up to 10 to knit last row
  35. Latch Tool Bind off
  36. Graft the first row to itself and sew up the back seam.  You can graft on the machine or by graft by hand
