Knitting Machine Bias Hat Pattern

  1. Cast on 30 sts with Waste Yarn, then a row of ravel cord
  2. Change to your MC yarn, make sure the counter is at zero's
  3. *Knit 2 rows
  4. Increase on one side, decrease on the other side*
  5. Repeat from * to * for 10 rows total
  6. Turn your work with a garter bar
  7. Repeat from * to * for 10 rows total
  8. Continue knitting until row counter 80
  9. Work off with Waste Yarn also with leaving enough yarn to graft the last row to the first row.
  10. Hang the side with the decreases that does not have the eyelets on as many needles as you can get
  11. Knit 7 rows and reform to rib or if you have a double bed, set up so that it will do the rib for you.
  12. I will then hand knit the last row so that it isn't too tight and then latch tool bind off.

NOTE: If you do not have a garter bar, then you can just start at one end of your knitting machine bed and increase on one side and decrease on the other side for maybe 60 rows, which you will need to try out for yourself as I haven't had the time to try it myself. Depending on the size you are working up, you may have to move the stitches back to the other side to complete it.

If you want for a teen or adult, you will more than likely need to cast on more stitches and work up more rows.

Remember, if you are making these or any item for donations, you can donate them to your local churches (do not have to be a member there), any homeless shelter, food pantries, hospitals and local schools.  Do not be a fool when someone else takes your items and donates or even sells them for their recognition and not yours or even a profit that they never made the items.
