Yarn used Lily Sugar'n Cream Yarn
Gauge (Stocking Stitch over 4 in = 10 cm)-. 20.0 stitches by 26.0 tours. Knit by Bond using KP3

FINISHED DIMENSIONS: (ins): 8.9"

NOTE: At most, 24 needles are required to knit this item.

  1. Cast on 24 stitches in WY, using KP3 and open edge method. Work 6 rows WY. COR. Change to MY. Reset
    RC000. Start work in Stocking Stitch.
  2. First wedge. Work 1 row even across all stitches. Put all NDLs into HP. Short row 4 stitches every other row 5 times.
    Total 11 rows. Bring remaining NDLs to FWP (latches open). Work I row even across all stitches (optionally slip
    centre stitch to keep centre hole small).
  3. Repeat first wedge 15 more times. (Each wedge is 12 rows, total for all wedges is 192 rows).
  4. Change to WY. Work 6 rows. Remove stitches from machine.
  5. Now graft the I stitch row to the last row.
  6. Work your favorite trim if you want to help stop the curling.

Circle Blanket

Yarn used was a 3 ply polyester blend.

Gauge (Stocking Stitch over 4 in = 10 cm): 20.0 stitches by 32.0 rows.

Knit by Bond using KP2

FINISHED DIMENSIONS: (ins): 25"

NOTE: At most, 64 needles are required to knit this garment.

  1. Cast on 64 stitches in WY, using KP2 and open edge method. Work 6 rows WY. COR. Change to MY. Reset
    RC000. Start work in Stocking Stitch.
  2. First wedge. Work 1 row even across all stitches. Put all NDLs into HP. Short row 4 stitches every other row 4 times,
    then 3 stitches every other row 15 times. Total 39 rows. Bring rem NDLs to FWP (latches open). Work 1 row
    even across all stitches (optionally slip centre stitch to keep centre hole small).
  3. Repeat first wedge 15 more times. (Each wedge is 40 rows, total for all wedges is 640 rows).
  4. Change to WY. Work 6 rows. Remove stitches from machine.
  5. Graft the I stitch row to the last row.
  6. Work your favorite trim to help stop the curling.
