5 stitches and 7.5 rows equals 1 inch on the LK150 using Lion Brand Pound of Love yarn
NOTE: I changed the numbers for the Blue dickey to make the neck hole smaller, hope this helps
Front
Cast on 69 (81) stitches, Tension Dial 6, Knit 1 row then change Tension Dial back to 5 and knit 10
more rows, you will now have 11 rows on the counter. Reform to your favorite rib, I chose to do the 3x1 rib
doing the English Rib so less reforming done on the whole project
Now Knit to Row Counter 76 (82) while reforming the outside stitches, again I am keeping with the English Rib but you can do what you want
Shape Neck: Thread or work off on Waste Yarn center 21 (25) stitches, which remains 24 (28) stitches each side
Put needles opposite carriage to Hold Position and set carriage to Hold.
Decrease 1 st on neck edge every row 7 times
Work to row 85 (100), work off remaining stitches off on Waste Yarn
Work other neck edge the same while reversing shaping (decrease on neck edge that is)
Back
Cast on 69 (81) stitches, and work as for the Front #1 above
Work the sides stitches as for the front as well
Knit to Row Counter 85 (100)
Work side 17 (19) sts on the carriage side to Waste Yarn
Work center 33 (41) stitches center back off on Waste Yarn
Work other side of 17 (21) sts left over to Waste Yarn
Now you will graft one shoulder, either on the machine or by hand, your choice
Neck
Hang front neck, front neck sides as well
(I did hang every other row on the neck sides) and back
neck onto needles
Work up rib of your choice, I continued
the 3x1 Fisherman's Rib as before to make it all the
same, for 15 or how many rows you want. This one will
work out nicer being doubled over but I will just do a
short neckband
Now graft the other shoulder and seam up the neckband, weave in all ends
