Actually this was in the Brother Baby magazine with a little change I did in the end
So you basically take your favorite hat pattern, making sure it will work out with the Mock 2X1 stitch with having 2 stitches on each end
I knitted up the rib, doubled up but you do not have to do it that way
I then transferred the stitches to the knitter and knitted Stockinet Stitch
Next I transferred the 3rd stitch to the next needle and then putting the empty needle out of work
Knitted up a few rows of this
Next I took the work off on WY and put 2 stitches on one needle to decrease in half and knitted up 5 rows
Then did another decrease in half, knitted 3 rows
Gather Bind Off and sew the seam
