This is what I did on the video for the Knit Woven Pill Box Hat
I had 120 stitches
So for the crown decreasing, this is what I did
Decrease 19 stitches evenly across (* [K5, K2tog] once, then [K4, K2tog] 3 times * 4 times, then [K4, K2tog] 3 times)
Knit 4 rows even
Decrease 15 stitches evenly across (* [K5, K2tog] once, then [K4, K2tog] once * 6 times, then [K5, K2tog] 3 times)
Knit 4 rows even
Decrease 15 sts evenly across (* [K4, K2tog] once, then [K3, K2tog] once * 6 times, then [K4, K2tog] 3 times)
Knit 4 rows even
Decrease 15 stitches evenly across (* [K3, K2tog] once, then [K2, K2tog] once * 6 times, then [K3, K2tog] 3 times)
Knit 4 rows even
Decrease 15 stitches evenly across (* [K2, K2tog] once, then [K1, K2tog] once * 6 times, then [K2, K2tog] 3 times)
Knit 4 rows even
Decrease 15 stitches evenly across (* [K1, K2tog] once then K2tog once * 6 times, then [K2, K2tog] 3 times)
Knit 4 rows even
Decrease 15 stitches evenly across (* [K1, K2tog] once, then K2tog once * 6 times, then [K1, K2tog] 3 times
Work 4 rows even
Now you should be able to K2 across evenly
Gather Bind Off and sew seam. Weave in any yarn tails and put on head
