Worked up on the Sk155 bulky knitting machine, with some Worsted Weight yarn that fits me
Tension Dial four with four stitches and six and a half, rows equals one inch
Cast on thirty three stitches
You can lengthen the foot part but you may need to add stitches

Knit six rows, reform to rib, I did 1x1 rib
Knit to row counter thirty four (or thirty five for second sock)
Knit one row only half the stitches at tension dial ten
Reform those stitched for maybe three or four rows to rib of your choice
Bind off those ribbed stitches
Now cast on those needles again
Knit four rows all needles
Reform the same stitches on the side of zero to rib of your choice
Knit nineteen more rows
Change tension dial to ten or hand knit the next row so the sts are looser than the rest of the knitted fabric
Knit one more row
Reform the last three or six rows to rib of your choice
Fold sock in half
Sew up side seam, I like to put the seams on the inside but that is also your choice to do as you please
Weave in both ends
Make mate to this one, well unless you only need 1 of these socks and your all done
I did see someone with nylons on under the boot socks made like this
