Zig Zag Lace Shawl

TD3 on the LK150 using some #4 or DK Yarn

Finished item weighs 14 ounces

  1. CO 10 stitches
  2. K 2 rows, inc 1 stitch each side using 3 prong tool, leave empty needle in work
  3. Repeat above until 30 stitches, reset Row Counter to zeros NOTE: Work 20 rows each section
  4. INC on right side only but take 4th stitch on left and place on 3rd needle to keep eyelets going up
  5. INC on left side only but take 4th stitch on right and place on 3rd needle to keep eyelets going up
  6. Work until 220 rows (or whatever you want, td9 and knit 1 row, latch tool bind off
  7. Start next section, K 2 rows, INC as before, SAYG on left when COR, K 2 rows
  8. Inc as before

Now I would think that on the mid-gauge that starting out with 20 stitches, Increasing on the 4th row, but do the eyelets going up Every Other Row

For the bulky, maybe try as I did in the video and up above, for the standard, start out with the 20 or even 30 stitches and probably work up 30 or 40 rows each section. Work up as many rows as you want but then you may end up with a short piece. As you may have seen in the video, I did enough to almost fill the bed but used up my 4 ounces of each skein for each section.

I did work up 3 rounds of single crochet to help stop the curl, you can also use any machine knit trim as you please. Some trims work better than others, I would think the I-cord or Bias trim would also help.
