I forget who it was that told me of this, but you punch your card, or set your design into the computer or the electronic machines,
set cam to tuck and knit away.
Be careful as I have had times when 2 needles next to each other being tucked don't work well.

Now you punch your card like
this, of course repeating the 2 rows for as long as you need. If one were to make a blanket from this, then you will want to punch the whole card. The electronics just input the 2 rows. Most the time the X's are punched but in this case if you were to use the O's, it is the same, just that you may have a different starting row.
