Make your own claw weights

Bend as in the photo, now the handle bent you can add some weight if needed. I did a circular blanket with only the forks and no added weights.

Tammy's home made weights

Here are some weights that Tammy made, she designed them and her husband welded together. Now if one does not weld or have someone to weld for them, you can do sort of the same with some strong glue. Then you can make your own claw weights using different items.

She used size 1 1/2" number 17 brads for the claws and bent them over with a needle nose pliers. They were the thinnest ones she could find and it cost her $1.30 for a box of them and they already had the metal square stock as the weights. Then of course got the brads in holes and welded them.

It is nice that some can make their own items instead of depending on a product that one would have to buy at way more than making yourself.
